Suicide Support
Texting HEAR to 85258 is free, discreet and runs 24/7. It won’t appear on a mobile bill and requires no app, data, password, or registration. The free to use text service provides real-time support to people who are struggling with their mental health across the county. When texting the word HEAR to 85258, you will be connected to a qualified clinician who will offer them calm in a time or place of crisis.
If you are experiencing a difficult time or you know someone who is struggling, you can call the Samaritans on 116 123. This is a free 24-hour helpline.
If you feel you are in a mental health crisis you can call 111 and select the mental health option.
The CALM Helpline is dedicated to preventing male suicide and offers confidential emotional support. Call 0800 585858.
Mind provides a helpline and online chat for anyone affected by suicide or suicidal thoughts. Call 0808 808 7777.
WorkWell Hubs
A free programme that helps people who may be struggling to find or keep a job due to a health problem, has launched in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
The WorkWell pilot programme matches local people with a work and health coach who can establish what they need help with and help them find the right local support. The work and health coaches will provide personalised support, and can connect people with different services, such as health professionals, community sector services and local support groups.
This new programme is open to a range of people, so long as they are over 16 years old; live in, or are registered with a GP or Job Centre in Cambridgeshire or Peterborough; eligible to work in the UK; and have a health-related problem which affects employment.

The Well-being and coping site is a free NHS England co-funded service that helps anyone who is struggling and are facing challenges. It helps you feel a bit calmer and find new ways to help you cope.
Keep Your Head is a mental health service available to adults and professionals in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. It provides advice on self-help and where you can get local support and help.
The NHS Cambridge and Peterborough Talking Therapies is a service that provides psychological therapies to people experiencing common mental health problems such as depression and anxiety.

Peterborough Counselling Ltd provide 6-8 free sessions.
Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire Mind (CPSL Mind) provides support with mental wellbeing. They provide information and advice, peer support, advice and sign posting to related services.
Anxiety UK: is a dedicated, friendly, and approachable charity that believes that anxiety, stress, and anxiety-based depression are treatable and manageable.
